Who we are

Saints Esports Clubs (SEC) is the esports club at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. We run this website and decide what member information we collect. Questions about your information: stclairesportsclub@gmail.com.

What we collect

You give us this when you make an account or edit your profile:

• First and last name, student ID, student email and a password (stored hashed, never readable by us)
• Discord username and the games you play
• Optional: pronouns, date of birth, phone number and T-shirt size
• Optional: an emergency contact (name and phone), in case something happens at a club event

SEC is for St. Clair College students, so you sign up with your student email.

Why we use it

To run the club: contact you about events and teams, plan T-shirt orders, count members and the games people play, and reach your emergency contact if we ever have to. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

Who can see it

Only the club's admins (the exec team). Nothing from your account is shown publicly, and your student ID is never displayed on the site. Admins also keep a members spreadsheet in Google Sheets, updated automatically when someone signs up, and can export the member list as a file.

Where it is stored

• Supabase hosts the member database (United States, West).
• Vercel hosts the website and provides cookie-free, aggregate page-view counts.
• Google Sheets holds the exec team's members spreadsheet.
• Twitch provides the video player in the broadcast section. When the player loads, Twitch may set its own cookies; you can watch on twitch.tv instead using the "Open on Twitch" link.

Cookies

The only cookie we set is the sign-in session cookie, which is needed for you to stay signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner to click.

How long we keep it

While you are a member. You can delete your account whenever you like from your account page: that removes your profile and login immediately. Your row in the exec team's spreadsheet is removed by the execs within 30 days of your request.

Your choices

• See and correct your details any time on your account page.
• Download a copy of what we hold about you from your account page.
• Delete your account from your account page, or email us and we will do it.

Changes

If this changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell members.
